I have studied since 1979 to 1983 in Government pilot Secondary high school, Attock. never forget the golden memories, friends and teachers of that time.

Allama Professor Qazi Muhammad Zahid-ul-Husaini (1913-1997) Attock City • Maulana Zahid-ul-Husaini passed middle school in 1928 from Shamasabad Attock. In 1930 he went to Mazahir-ul-Uloum Saharanpur’. He joined Deoband in 1932 for ‘Daura-e-Hadith. Qazi Sb made Bait to Hazrat Hussain Ahmad Madni in 1936. After death of Hazrat Madni in 1957 Hazrat Zahid-ul-Husaini started visiting Hazrat Ahmad Ali Lahori more frequently. In 1962 Hazrat Lahori awarded him ‘Khilafat’ • After completing his studies at Daarul-Uloum-Deoband, Qazi Zahid-ul-Husaini started ‘Madrasah Muhammadia’ in his native village Shamsabaad.In 1941 ‘Imam-ul-Adab’ Maulana Aaizaz Ali instructed him to go to Dalwaal (Chakwal) which had influential Qadiani community. • In 1949 Qazi Zahid-ul-Husaini became Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Attock. During this period, he also taught ‘Bukhari Shareef’ and ‘Tirmizi Shareef’ at Akora Khattak • In 1951, he joined Attock College as Professor of Arabic / Islamiat and laid the foundations of ‘Madina Masjid’ Attock City. He retired in 1972 .He wrote 20 books on Quranic subjects. • He gave Darse Quran for 28 years (1964 to 1992) in Shamsabad, Dalwaal, Abbottabad, Kohat, Tarbela, Nowshera, Sanjwal, Peshawar, Lawrencepur,Kamra and Wah Cantt. These comprehensive Quranic lessons have been compiled in 28 volumes. • In 1997 Qazi Zahid-ul-Husaini passed away. He is survived by 3 sons; Arshad -ul- Husain, Rashid–ul-Husaini and Ibrahim Saqib-ul-Husaini

Its small pods caused intense Irritation or KHHURRAK.---- • Some of Our class mates at MC School Attock were from Jassian and sadder side. They used to bring its pods to school from Company bagh. They secretly rubbed it on the neck of other boys and enjoyed his Jumping with KHHURRAK.----- • It was a tall tree with very thick Barrel shaped Stem. Prof Banaras Govt College Attock may help to tell its botanical classification ----- • Lagunaria patersonii. Norfolk Island Hibiscus. Queensland, Malvaceae (Mallow Family)---- • when in bloom in midsummer and covered with flowers that are an inch or more across in colors grading through rose-pinks to lilac, this tree grows to about 25 feet. The flowers distinctly resemble the hibiscus, the stamens projecting from a central column, and indeed the tree is of the same family. The leaves are dull green, very pale underneath, and about 2 inches long.----- • The seed capsules open to reveal five compartments and should be handled with care because of the fine sharp hairs .The hairs are used as itching powder to be shaken down the neck of the kid at the desk in front of you by mischief-makers.The cow-itch tree (Mincuna imbricata) of India bears pods covered with sharp hairs

Baithak of Baba Kamil Peer (Pir Makki Sher sawar) in the middle of Kamal pur Syedan.— in Attock City .On diagonal street starting off Iqbal road and going to karma road . This is perhaps the only street in Attock city which displays warning sign :” Yeh Shara –i- Aam naheen Hey” meaning “this is no thoroughfare” • Tawakal shah kabbotar wali ziarat . I lived in Kamalpur Syedan Giran (village) from 1972 to 1984. Some Kashmiri (like Miskeen and Saleem )and some Syeds ( like Sibte Hasan S/O Syed Mushtaq Hussain Shah (Faizi Sahib) MES ,Syed Talawat insurance company and Nizakat PTCL,Waqar naqvi brother of Zaheer Naqvi Shaheed )were my class-fellows in MC middle and Pilot School. Our English teacher from 6th to 8th was Akhtar Shah Sahib was also from KPS.
